We design, manufacture, and install all kinds of material handling equipment in manufacturing facilities throughout the GTA and South-Central Ontario.
We're looking to add*Millwright/Industrial Mechanic *to our growing team. We're looking for someone with hands-on mechanical experience, includingstrong understanding of industrial installation projects, and an in-depth knowledge of job-site safety, rigging, millwrighting, utility piping and electrical services.
*Here?s What You?ll Be Doing:*
* Working withteam of skilled tradespeople, withinplant environment, coordinating with site supervisors, project management, and our manufacturing team.
*typical day includes working in our clients? manufacturing sites fabricating, installing, removing, and servicingvariety of conveying and automation equipment.
* Ensuring that Good Manufacturing Practices are adhered to at all times and compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
* Interpreting blueprints.
* Looking for ways to complete the jobs inmore efficient manner.
* Adhering to company health and safety, human resources, and accounting policies, procedures, and programs.
* Must be available to work overtime (weekends) per the needs of the business.
*Here?s What You?ll Need*:
* High School Diploma or equivalent, trade school considered an asset.
* Mechanical background with 3+ years of hands-on experience in industrial installations.
* Journeyman/Journeywoman?s license (Millwright, etc.), preferred.
* Knowledge of manufacturing industry regulations, standards and practices.
* Must have own maintenance tools.
* Experience working inteam-based environment.
* Rigging and hoisting experience, an asset.
* CWB tickets, an asset.
* Prior experience in Stainless Steel fabrication and Tig welding, an asset.
* Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites throughout the GTA and South-Central Ontario, validdrivers license and personal vehicle are required.
* Demonstrated communication, problem solving, interpersonal and analytical skills.
