*Position Summary*

The Millwright Helper will play a key support role in assisting skilled millwrights with the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery and mechanical systems. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in the industrial trades and mechanical field. The Millwright Helper will assist in tasks such as equipment installation, troubleshooting, alignment, and repair, while safely operating hand and power tools. The role requires a strong willingness to learn, attention to detail, and the ability to follow guidance from experienced technicians. As part of the team, the Millwright Helper contributes to a safe, efficient, and productive work environment while developing skills to advance in the millwright trade.

*Key Responsibilities*

* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to machinery and mechanical systems.
* Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery and equipment.
* Use hand tools and power tools to support mechanical repairs and fabrication tasks.
* Perform basic measurements and assist in aligning machinery to required specifications.
* Support troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment issues under the supervision of senior millwrights.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
* Follow all safety protocols and company procedures at all times.
* Assist in testing and inspection of equipment to ensure proper operation.
* Work collaboratively as part of a team to meet project timelines and production goals.
* Ability to work flexible shifts, including 12-hour, 10-hour, and 8-hour rotations.

*Qualifications & Skills*

* Licensed *433A Industrial Millwright* preferred; registered apprentices considered.
* High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in industrial trades.
* Willingness to learn from experienced millwrights and follow detailed instructions.
* Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
* Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver equipment as required.
* Attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $28.81-$37.77 per hour
