*Position Overview*
We are seeking a Hydrogeologist to join our growing team. The successful candidate will provide technical expertise in groundwater assessment, hydrogeological investigations, monitoring program design, and analytical/field support for projects spanning environmental site assessment, infrastructure development, water resources, and permitting. This role involves collaboration with our geotechnical, environmental, civil, and surveying teams.

*Responsibilities*

* Conduct field investigations involving drilling oversight, borehole logging, monitoring well installation, and groundwater/soil sampling.
* Complete hydraulic testing programs including slug tests, pumping tests, and in-situ permeability testing.
* Collect, manage, and interpret geological and hydrogeological data.
* Perform groundwater data analysis and modeling using appropriate software and industry methodologies.
* Prepare technical memoranda and reports including hydrogeological assessments, dewatering analyses, water balance assessments, groundwater supply studies, and impact evaluations.
* Assist in proposal preparation and project documentation.
* Other duties as assigned

*Job Requirements *

* Post-secondary education in Hydrogeology, Geology, Geoscience, Earth Sciences, Environmental Science, or a related field. Bachelor?s degree preferred; college diploma in a relevant environmental or earth sciences program considered.
* Eligibility for (or intention to pursue) P.Geo., GIT, C.Tech., or C.E.T. designation is an asset.
* Experience with hydrogeological fieldwork, including drilling oversight, borehole logging, groundwater sampling, and monitoring well installation.
* Ability to conduct groundwater level measurements and basic hydraulic testing (e.g., slug tests).
* Familiarity with interpreting groundwater and geological data.
* Experience with groundwater monitoring equipment, pumps, field meters, and sampling tools.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills for documenting findings and working with project teams.
* Ability to work independently in the field and in coordination with multidisciplinary staff.
* Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
* Valid Ontario Class G driver?s license

*Working Conditions *

* Work will be performed in both office (20%) and field environments (80%)
* Fieldwork involves exposure to varying weather conditions, rough terrain, construction sites, and active drilling operations.
* Required to travel to project sites throughout Ontario.
* Must be able to lift and carry equipment and materials (up to 50 lbs).
* Work may involve prolonged standing, walking, bending, and handling field instruments or sampling equipment.
