Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. or equivalent experience. Asset languages: Spanish; Castilian. Work site environment: Outdoors. All weather conditions. Work setting: Rural area. Greenhouse. Nursery - horticulture. Tasks: Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens. Apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, pesticides and other lawn care products. Apply various treatments such as pruning, spraying, repairing damaged areas and injecting with treatment solutions. Supervise crew members. Pick orders and stock. Operate machines and equipment. Organize and maintain inventory. Area of specialization: Plant knowledge and identification. Propagation. Horticulture. Transportation/travel information: Own vehicle. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Attention to detail. Repetitive tasks.
