Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. Work site environment: Non-smoking. Work setting: Work in employer's/client's home. Tasks: Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene. Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties. Provide companionship. Provide personal care. Shop for food and household supplies. Prepare and serve nutritious meals. Target audience: Elderly. Males. Personal suitability: Client focus. Dependability. Efficient interpersonal skills. Flexibility. Organized. Patience. Honesty. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
