Position Overview

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced *Health Care Aide (HCA)* to support senior clients in *Leduc*. This position offers consistent weekly hours on *Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays*, *Saturdays* with *3-hour visits* in a calm and familiar home environment.

Care focuses on personal care, light meal preparation, companionship, and walks (weather permitting).

Key Responsibilities

* Assist with showering and personal hygiene
* Prepare a light meal or snack as part of the routine
* Provide respectful companionship, including short walks
* Support light housekeeping or tidying as needed
* Observe and report changes in the client?s condition
* Deliver professional, compassionate, and dependable care

Requirements

* *Health Care Aide Certificate* (or equivalent from an accredited program)
* *Registered and active on the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory*
* Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver?s License and reliable transportation
* Fluent in English with strong verbal communication skills
* Current CPR & First Aid certification
* Clear Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check
* Ability to work independently and follow established care plans
* Kind, respectful, and comfortable providing one-on-one care

Job Details

* *Job Type:* Part-time (approximately *12 hours/week*)

* *Compensation:* Competitive hourly wage based on experience
