*Overview*
Sous Sol is seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food, creativity in menu development, and strong leadership skills to manage kitchen operations effectively. This role requires a deep understanding of food handling, innovative culinary techniques, safety standards, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The successful candidate will get to experience working with a close-knit team that prides itself on good food and FUN.

*Responsibilities*

* Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality & consistent food preparation and presentation.
* Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences & utilizing locally sourced ingredients.
* Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining cost control to ensure profitability.
* Work with leaders at sister restaurants to attain optimal pricing for the conglomerate.
* Participate in community & charitable events integral to the business.
* Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a positive, productive and fun work environment.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff & General Manager to ensure seamless service, guest satisfaction & hospitality.
* Monitor kitchen performance and implement improvements as necessary to enhance efficiency.

*Qualifications*

* Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within a restaurant setting.
* Experience in French cooking & techniques considered an asset.
* Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food handling practices, and safety regulations.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
* Experience in restaurant management and familiarity with inventory control systems.
* Passion for hospitality and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
* Desire to have fun and be innovative!
* Ability to work evenings and weekends.
