Hairstylist

*Overview*
We are seeking talented and personable Hair Stylist to join our vibrant salon team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping clients look and feel their best, with strong skills in hair styling and customer service. The Hair Stylist will be responsible for providing professional hair services, maintaining high sanitation standards, and contributing to a welcoming salon atmosphere.

*Responsibilities*

* Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling to meet client preferences.
* Provide exceptional customer service by listening to clients? needs and offering expert advice on hair care and styling options.
* Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all tools, equipment, and work areas in compliance with health regulations.
* Upsell retail products and additional services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
* Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and handling payments efficiently.
* Foster a friendly and professional environment that encourages repeat business and positive reviews.
* Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and products through ongoing education.

*Experience*

* Previous experience as a Hair Stylist or in a similar role is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
* Knowledge of sanitation protocols specific to beauty salons is essential.
* Ability to upsell retail products tactfully while maintaining excellent client relationships.
* Excellent communication skills to clearly understand client needs and explain service options.

*Qualification*:

Must have Cosmetology/ Hairstylist Diploma or equivalent

*Compensation*:

Independent Contractor under a Salon Booth Rental Agreement

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.20-$25.55 per hour
