*POSITION SUMMARY*

Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Security, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and well-protected environment for employees, visitors, and corporate property. Key responsibilities include:

* *Patrolling corporate facilities* to identify irregularities, security issues, equipment deficiencies, and safety hazards. Prevent losses and damage through thorough patrols, investigations, and accurate reporting. Enforce policies and procedures by informing violators, issuing warnings or trespass notices, and performing lawful arrests in accordance with the Criminal Code of Canada and the Trespass to Property Act.
* *Working collaboratively with Corporate Facilities Management* to identify and resolve safety hazards, property concerns, and facility-related issues.
* *Conducting patrols and responding to alarms* during weekends, statutory holidays, and after-hours, including support at additional corporate locations within the GTA as required.
* *Managing access control* by monitoring employee and visitor entry. Program access cards and visitor tags based on job function and service requests. Perform regular audits of access privileges and deactivate cards according to established procedures.
* *Monitoring CCTV systems* to detect and investigate irregularities, document findings, and retain footage as required for further investigation.
* *Responding to and investigating security breaches*, Criminal Code violations, fire and safety hazards, unauthorized entry, theft, and system malfunctions or interruptions.
* *Preparing detailed reports* of daily activities and security incidents; maintaining logs and duty books; conducting investigations including witness and suspect statements; and preserving evidence to support timely resolution of issues.
* *Communicating effectively and exercising sound judgment* in all situations.
* *Performing Chief Fire Warden duties*, ensuring emergency teams are trained and evacuation plans are clearly posted and distributed. Coordinate evacuation drills, meetings, and follow-up activities.
* *Providing primary response to emergencies and non-emergencies*, managing physical threats to personnel or property, supporting other departments when assistance is required, issuing emergency announcements over the PA system, and contacting external authorities when needed.
* *Administering First Aid and CPR*, including use of AEDs and oxygen equipment.
* *Conducting security audits and assessments*, providing recommendations to enhance physical security and ensure adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
* *Coordinating the secure destruction of confidential materials*, ensuring proper disposal of sensitive information.
* *Supporting the Security Manager* in developing site-specific security policies and procedures.
* *Performing cross-monitoring duties* through CCTV and access control platforms across various corporate sites.
* *Escorting authorized trades, visitors, or individuals* throughout the facility as required.
* *Verifying winners for high-value programs or claims* using approved systems; assisting customers with claim documentation; and overseeing draws or processes requiring CCTV monitoring (if applicable to site).
* *Delivering exceptional customer service* by responding to inquiries, assisting employees and visitors, and addressing complaints or property-related concerns.
* *Managing key control programs*, including issuing, tracking, maintaining, and documenting key usage, spares, and replacements.
* *Providing backup support to shipping and receiving*, when required.
* *Ensuring compliance with AGCO standards* and other applicable regulatory requirements.
* *Adhering to organizational Travel, Meal, and Hospitality Expense policies.*

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour



Experience:
* Security: 3 years (required)
* First aid & CPR: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
* Security Guard Licence (required)
