Tasks: Recommend measures to improve productivity . Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Estimate costs and materials. Prepare production and other reports. Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions. Co-ordinate and schedule activities. Co-ordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed. Establish methods to meet work schedules. Read blueprints and drawings.
