*Overview*
The Financial Analyst prepares, analyzes, and reports on financial data to guide business decisions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards. Key duties involve creating financial statements, reconciling accounts, budgeting, variance analysis, tax prep, process improvement, and collaborating across departments for operational efficiency and financial health.

Duties and responsibilities

· Full-cycle AP ownership: invoice entry, 3?way match where applicable, coding to correct GL/accounts, and vendor reconciliations

· Month-end close support: prepare journal entries (accruals, reclasses), perform account reconciliations, and assist with variance analysis

· Strong reconciliation skills across subledgers (AP/AR/inventory) to GL, including clearing suspense and resolving discrepancies with vendors/internal teams

· Cash application understanding: match payments to invoices, manage unapplied cash, and support accurate AP/AR aging reports

· Comfort working in ERP environments (Oracle or similar), including running standard reports and exporting data for analysis (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs in Excel)

· Ability to document and follow approval workflows, maintain vendor master data, and support implementation/improvement of AP processes and controls

· Support cash flow management by preparing AP aging, identifying critical/hold vendors, and flagging payment plan commitments (CRA, freight, key suppliers, etc.)

· General financial reporting exposure: assist in preparing supporting schedules for P&L and balance sheet, including accrual and prepayment schedules

Qualifications and skills

Experience

* *Relevant experience: *5-7years of experience in an Financial Analyst role or similar.
* Pursing CPA or strong interest in pursuing in the future
* Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, Formulas)
* Soft skills: detail?oriented, organized, comfortable with ambiguity in a transition environment, strong communication with operations, vendors, and finance leadership

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
