Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: Bilingual essentialNOTE : Applicants must attach a resume to their application.JOB SUMMARY:Reporting to the Corporate Director of Infrastructure, the incumbent is responsible for the functional planning of renovations and the reconfiguration of spaces.RESPONSIBILITIES :Gather the necessary information from departments regarding space needs and layout designs for renovation or construction projects within Vitalit� Health NetworkDevelop the program and functional plan for renovation or construction projectsCreate architectural drawings to support functional plansWork collaboratively with the managers of Facilities Management and the project managers to ensure that projects are completed in accordance with specifications and estimatesProvide assistance, guidance, analysis, and advice to departments regarding their space requirementsImplement and maintain a management reporting system to ensure effective compliance and monitoring of results and obligationsDevelop space allocation budgets in collaboration with the managers of Facilities Management and the project managers to support design planningAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities, including the stress related to setting priorities and meeting deadlinesREQUIREMENTS : Two-year degree in architectural technology or another relevant field; Five years' experience in space planning; Experience in a hospital project considered an asset; Knowledge of building codes in a hospital setting and of the Z8000 standard; Advanced skills with computer programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.); Skills in using CAD software to produce conceptual plans and 3D drawings; Adherence to the language requirements stipulated in Vitalit� Health Network's official languages policy; Strong interactive and adaptable communication skills; Collaborative and supportive approach; Leadership skills; Good judgment, tact, and discretion; Ability to prepare and analyze complex documents; Ability to work under pressure; Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;Ability to work independently and as part of a team;Physical ability to perform the assigned work;Good work history (performance and attendance);Adherence to professional ethical principles, the Network's management philosophy, and organizational values;Compliance with the rules of confidentiality set by Vitalit� Health Network.NOTE :Position to be reviewed by the Part III Classification Committee.The above requirements may be verified through oral, written or practical tests during the selection process.Should there be no fully qualified applicants, this position will not necessarily be reposted.
