*About the Role:*
This role is responsible for planning, booking, and executing events at the taproom while also supporting front-of-house operations, including food ordering, bar upkeep, and staff scheduling. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, enjoys bringing people together, and takes pride in operational excellence.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Sales/lead generation and execution
* Source, plan, and schedule a diverse range of events including:
* Weddings and private celebrations
* Karaoke nights, trivia, live entertainment
* Family-friendly and children?s events
* Community and corporate bookings
* Act as the primary point of contact for event clients, vendors, and performers
* Coordinate event logistics including setup, timing, staffing, and teardown
* Develop a rolling events calendar to maximize taproom traffic and revenue
* Collaborate with marketing on event promotion and social media content
* Order food and supplies for taproom events and regular service
* Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the bar and event areas
* Schedule bartenders and event staff based on business needs and event requirements
* Coordinate with the taproom team to ensure smooth service during events
* Support inventory tracking and operational readiness for high-volume days
* Ensure all events align with Brunswick Bierworks? brand, values, and safety standards
* Deliver a welcoming, professional, and memorable guest experience
* Troubleshoot issues in real time during events and service periods
Qualifications:
· 2+ years of experience in event planning, hospitality, or taproom/restaurant operations
· Strong organizational and multitasking skills
· Comfortable managing schedules, vendors, and multiple priorities simultaneously
· Experience coordinating staff in a hospitality setting preferred
· Excellent communication and customer-service skills
· Ability to work evenings, weekends, and event-driven schedules
· Smart Serve (or ability to obtain)
