Responsible for leadingdevelopment team in implementing large scale, multi-year Programs and strategic initiatives.The candidate will have experience working in the Technology Industry supporting the end-to-end delivery of projects and initiatives. They must have excellent analytical, problem solving and trouble shooting skills to quickly and effectively resolve problems invirtual environment. Be highly creative in identifying and researching technical solutions to resolve business problems and able to take abstract concepts and apply them to formulate solutions and often work in variable, precedent setting situations.The candidate will oversee the deployment of programs by coordinating with all stakeholders involved and ensuring processes run smoothly with minimal disruption. The candidate will help with the creation of Program roadmaps, program templates, governance and will monitor program progress to ensure all items are tracked and actions completed. The candidate will ensure that all budgeting, scheduling, and financial tracking is complete. The candidate will be responsible for Program reporting, executive updates and will be encouraged to always look for ways to improve the way we work and manage our Program team. In this role you will: Lead the delivery of development programs and initiatives ensuring they are on time and within budget.Liaison with various stakeholder groups (security, qat, business) to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Provide Program status updates by creating dashboards and reporting.Resolve 'risks and issues' proactively and manage action items.Support the daily scrum activities of the team.Identify and recommend enhancements or modifications to all processes to continually improve overall department efficiency and effectiveness.Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.
