Job Description Job Description Red Seal 309A Electrician (International Projects) Location: International (Africa / Caribbean) | Departure: Pearson International Airport, Toronto Job Type: Contract / Fly-In, Fly-Out (FIFO) About the Role We are a Canadian electrical contractor seeking adventurous and highly skilled Red Seal 309A Electricians . If you have previous experience working in Africa or the Caribbean-and an interest in returning to similar project environments-we want to hear from you. Compensation & Benefits We offer highly competitive compensation packages tailored to the scope of your assignment: Role-Based Pay: Hourly rates are tiered based on your position ( Electrician Lead vs. Crew Member ). Location-Based Pay: Total compensation is adjusted based on the specific international location of the project. Per Diem: Generous daily per diem provided while on assignment. Fully Covered Logistics: All flights, travel, and accommodations are 100% arranged and paid for by the company. Schedule & Rotation Rotation: 6 to 8-week international assignments, followed by 2 weeks off (with a paid return trip home). Hours: Six 10-hour workdays per week while on assignment. Key Responsibilities You will bring a well-rounded skill set to our international sites, focusing on: Installation of solar arrays and inverter systems. Managing all related interconnections from initial setup to final execution. Testing, commissioning, and comprehensive troubleshooting of electrical systems. Qualifications & Requirements Active Red Seal 309A Certification. Valid passport for the full duration of the international assignment. Must maintain Canadian citizenship or Permanent Resident (PR) status. Preferred: Previous electrical experience in Africa, the Caribbean, or similar remote/international project environments.
