*Optimal Air is seeking an experienced Electrician for commercial & industrial work.*

The candidate will be responsible for completing service calls and project work. We complete design-build & bid spec projects in commercial & industrial applications such as warehouses, offices, restaurants, medical buildings, long term care homes, retail, etc.

*Duties*

* Complete electrical installation, renovation, and repair projects from start to finish in commercial & industrial applications such as retail, daycares, restaurants, offices, medical buildings, etc.
* Complete electrical service calls in the above noted settings to restore electrical power to devices, buildings, spaces, etc.
* Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
* Run conduit, wire, pvc, install devices and fixtures
* Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks related to electrical work.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical systems
* Ensure all work is performed in accordance with the electrical code, regulations.
* Complete work in a safe manor
* Guide and train apprentices on best practices
* Work in collaboration / coordination with other trades to complete project scope
* Completing work orders & timesheets electronically.

*Skills*

* Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding schematics related to electrical systems.
* Strong knowledge of industrial electrician practices and commercial wiring techniques.
* Experience with hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment used in electrical work.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting electrical issues.
* Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.

Minimum Requirements:

* 309A journeyman or 4th or 5th year apprentice
* Clean drivers abstract with G driver license
* Working at heights
* Elevated work platform training

This job may be offered as a contract or full time position.

Pay: $35.00-$48.00 per hour
