Atlantic Driving Academy has been training drivers in New Brunswick since 1986 and we are expanding! Are you drawn to coaching, training and helping others? Do you enjoy driving? Becoming a licensed instructor may be the perfect career!

You need to have held a Canadian drivers license with a clean drivers abstract for a minimum of 6 years, and provide a criminal record check.

No experience is necessary. Chosen applicants are required to successfully complete a Provincial Driver Education Instructors Course, followed by testing at ServiceNB. Atlantic Driving Academy covers all application costs, as well as your tuition and licensing fees.

Working hours are flexible but there is some evening and weekend work. A company car is provided for work purposes:

Requirements:

* Class 5 drivers license (or out of province equivalent) for a minimum of 6 years
* Clean Drivers Abstract
* NB Provincial Driver Education Instructor Course (3 week course to be provided to chosen applicants. All fees paid by Atlantic Driving Academy)
* Criminal Record Check (including the vulnerable sector)

Primary Responsibilities:

* Private in car training, teaching the Atlantic Driving Academy proprietary curriculum
* Evaluating and reporting student progress
* Adhere to all safety standards and procedures
* Consistently demonstrate a professional code of conduct

Skills

* Passion for teaching and mentoring others
* Good driving skills
* Relaxed communication style
* Team player but also able to work independently
* Comfortable with learning/using internal software system
* Strong understanding of customer services and dedication to clients
