Starliner Transport (1981) Ltd. is seeking a Class 1 Truck Driver to join our team. The perfect candidate will transport goods through British Columbia, Alberta, and Yukon as well as the Western United States.
*Qualifications:*
* Valid class 1 drivers license
* Have an acceptable drivers abstract
* Experience with dry vans and reefer trailers
* Have a valid passport (those travelling in the United States)
* Must submit a drug and alcohol test as part of a DOT requirement (those travelling in the United States)
*Responsibilities Include:*
* Performing pre and post trip inspections
* Maintaining a professional attitude
* Accurate record keeping of logs and fuel stops
* Communicating with dispatch
* Performing emergency road side repairs
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual
Pay: $25.00-$32.34 per hour
Experience:
* Commercial Truck Driving: 1 year (preferred)
