*Who We Are Looking For*

We are currently looking for one full-time 5 Ton Truck Driver to join our operations on a permanent basis out of Kelowna, BC. The 5 Ton Truck Driver will transport and deliver packaged goods with regular delivery routes within Kelowna area.

*Position Overview*

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the driver will start and end each delivery day from the warehouse location in Kelowna and will be required to:

· Perform daily vehicle and equipment inspections

· Load and unload the truck - This is a physical job.

· Check all orders being delivered and/or picked up

*· This is weekend work - Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday and Four 10 hour shifts -*

*The Shift is 6:00am - 4:00pm*

· Efficiently deliver product to customers ensuring the proof of deliveries are appropriately signed

· Handle all paperwork including collection of payments, when required

· Efficiently complete all driver paperwork according to regulations

*Requirements*

· Valid Class 5 driver's license with a minimum of one year of experience transporting and delivering goods

· Previous experience using an electric pallet jack

· Excellent accuracy and attention to detail

· Demonstrated ability to work independently in an efficient manner without supervision

· Strong initiative and organizational skills

· Must be physically fit and able to perform repetitive lifting of at least 40 pounds

· Experience with, or basic understanding of, digital handhelds for shipment tracking
