*Responsibilities*

* Safely operate trucks and commercial vehicles to transport freight to designated locations
* Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
* Maintain accurate delivery logs, driver logs, and freight documentation
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues
* Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle operability
* Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies during transportation activities
* Assist in warehouse operations including freight handling and inventory management when required

*Requirements*

* Valid commercial driver?s license (CDL) with clean driving record
* Experience with freight transportation and commercial driving preferred
* Ability to operate forklifts and heavy equipment safely (certification isplus)
* Knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting vehicle issues
* Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and freight handling
* Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks as needed
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
* Prior experience with freight logistics or warehouse operations is advantageous
