*This job is 3 days per week of Delivery Driving work. *

Deliver Driving 3 days/week.

We are seeking a Part-Time Delivery Driver with a D-Z driver?s license with clean abstract and previous TDG delivery experience to drive Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays.

This position requires the ability to drive our 2023 International tandem axle straight truck with air brakes Tuesday through Thursday. Truck is a full service leased truck being serviced through the dealer. You will be responsible for picking orders from the warehouse along with loading and unloading this truck. The route is within south western GTA extending into Niagara and London.

Must be dependable, detail oriented and self-motivated. Must have basic computer knowledge and speak fluent English. Must have sound knowledge of the GTA Highways. Forklift experience and certification is preferred. Some moderately heavy (50 lbs) lifting.

*Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*

*Delivery & Pick-up Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday*

* Determine daily route based on existing delivery and pick up schedule.
* Plan and load truck in relation to route.
* Ensure all goods are stowed and secured within the truck.
* Verify that paperwork is in order before leaving: all stock accounted for.
* Ensure paperwork is signed by customer with payment if necessary.
* Return all paperwork to office.
* Complete delivery log sheet.

*Safety*

* Comply with all TDG regulations while delivering.
* Work safely in the warehouse (proper lifting procedures, wear required PPE etc).
* Defensive Driver

*Truck Maintenance*

* Daily Circle check
* Regularly inspect delivery truck
* Advise management when repairs are needed.

*Requirements:*

* DZ License
* Previous TDG delivery experience.
* Clear drivers abstract.
* Previous forklift certificate and experience.

*Applicants will be required to supply the following:*

* Driver Abstract (MV)
* CVOR Drivers Abstract/ CVDR
* Letter of Experience from prior insurer(s)
* Letter of Experience from prior employer(s)
* Complete a New Driver Commercial Insurance Questionnaire

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00-$28.00 per hour
