*Job Responsibilities:*

* Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
* Address customers' complaints or concerns
* Professionalism in customer service
* Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
* Load and unload goods
* Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
* Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
* Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
* Receive and relay information to central dispatch
* Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
* Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
* Transport and handle dangerous goods

*Job Requirements:*

To be eligible for this role, applicants must:
Have a *1 year to less than 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience*.
Be comfortable with *cross-border, long-haul, city work.*
*Be physically present in Moncton *to complete the hiring process (road test & in-person interview).
Be willing to undergo *background checks, drug testing, and other necessary screenings*.
Demonstrate a *commitment to safety, professionalism, and regulatory compliance*.
