Cold Storage Warehouse Operator Status: Full-time Work Arrangement: On-site - Cold Storage Warehouse Facility Location: Laval, Quebec IMPORTANT: This is a freezer position ? this role requires working in freezer temperatures for multiple hours every day. Pay: $25.00 ? $28.00 per hour, depending on experience. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, this role is responsible for accurately fulfilling customer orders, receiving and verifying incoming product, and safely operating a forklift within our cold storage facility. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role that requires working in freezer temperatures for extended periods - up to several hours per day - as a regular and essential part of the job. Key Responsibilities Order Fulfillment & Inventory Handling Fill customer orders accurately and efficiently using a computer and handheld scanning device Verify product types and quantities upon both receiving and shipping to ensure accuracy Locate, move, and stage stock on pallets or in crates for storage or shipment Identify and report damaged goods, shortages, or quality deficiencies immediately Material Handling & Forklift Operation Safely operate a forklift to load and unload incoming and outgoing trailers, containers, and vehicles Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and containers and stack them in assigned storage locations Manually load and unload trailers by hand when required, safely lifting and moving product Special Service & Packaging Perform packaging, stamping, labeling, product tempering, and repacking as required Support container loading and unloading for outbound shipments Food Safety & Quality Assurance Follow all quality assurance rules and procedures to support the facility's HACCP certification Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work area in line with HACCP standards Participate in food-safety and HACCP training, provided by the company Work Environment & Physical Requirements This role is based in a cold storage warehouse and requires working in freezer temperatures for extended periods, up to several hours per day, as a key and regular requirement of the job Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and repetitive manual lifting, pushing, and pulling of product Must be physically fit and able to safely load and unload trailers both by hand
