*Job Introduction ? Dishwasher*
The Dishwasher plays an important role in supporting daily food service operations at Holy Family Home by ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety standards. This position helps maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment while supporting the dietary team in providing safe, high-quality meals for residents.

Applicants must be able to competently read, write, and understand English, and follow written and oral instructions in English.

*\*\*A current Certified Food Handlers Certificate is required.\*\**

The successful applicant will, first and foremost, demonstrate accountability, initiative and responsibility. Must be physically able to perform assigned duties in an environment of heat, moisture, strong detergents and temperature fluctuations. Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment with mínimal supervision. Emphasis on cleanliness and safety that results in meeting residents?, visitors? and staff expectations through quality food service and customer service. Must be tidy in appearance and have a high level of personal hygiene. Must be sympathetic to the needs of the residents and other customers

lifting, repetitive bending, stretching, moving, and standing for long periods of time. Positions involve working with chemicals and following WHMIS guidelines.

*Dish washing*
- Cleaning dish machine and other equipment and areas as designated
- Putting away catering dishes when needed
- Soaking and washing pots
- Washing and sanitizing soiled carts.
- Cleaning wire racks and fan in dish room.
- Discarding compost
- Other tasks as assigned

\*\*Job Type\*\*: Part-time 1-6:30pm

Pay: $15.80-$21.65 per hour
