Belmont House ischaritable, non-profit, Christian home for seniors offering long term care and retirement living.

We currently looking to fill the following positions

Part Time, 14 hours biweekly, 4:00pm to 7:30pm

Fridays every week, and every other weekend.

Part Time, 14 hours biweekly, 4:00pm to 7:30pm

Saturday and Sunday every weekend.

Part Time, 18 hours biweekly, 4:00pm to 7:30pm4:30pm to 7:30pm

Monday and Wednesdays every week, and every other weekend

Part Time, 21 hours biweekly, 4:00 pm to 7:30pm

Thursday and Fridays every week, and every other weekend.

Part Time21 hours biweekly 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm

Wednesday and Thurdays every week, and every other weekend.

There is opportunity to have extra shifts based on both availability andseniority basis.

Responsibilities:

* Follow and meet all pre-determined work routine and schedule
* Provide meal service to resident plan of care for breakfast, lunch and dinner
* Prepare and deliver nourishment
* Prepare tables and serving areas for meal services
* Follows cleaning schedule and sanitation guidelines at all times
* Assist production staff in kitchen
* Support energy efficiency by ensuring all equipment, unoccupied areas, etc. are powered down appropriately
* Address all concerns/inquiries from residents and tenants
* Ensure meals are served on time and within Belmont guidelines
* Follow each resident plan of care and communicate any discrepancies to Food Service Supervisor and/or Registered Dietician inprompt manner
* Ensure work area meets all health and safety standards
* Carry out all other job related duties that contribute to the team approach of resident care as assigned by the Food Service Supervisor and/or Director of Support Services

Qualifications:

* Previous experience in long term care environment preferred
* Ability to interact with seniors
* Excellent organizational skills will ability to meet all department goals
* Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
* Must be able to read, write, understand and speak English
* Ability to learn tasks withinshort period of time (will receive on the job training)

Job Types: Part-time

Pay: From $20.25 to $22.15 per hour (as per Collective Agreement)
