Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Group home. Work in employer's/client's home. Private residence. Tasks: Provide suicide and crisis intervention. Resolve conflict situations. Supervise activities of clients living in group homes and half-way houses. Assist clients/guests with special needs. Accompany clients to appointments and social outings. Evaluate work environments, programs and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury. Maintain clean and safe work environment. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : First Aid Certificate. CPR Certificate. Work experience with special needs students: Assistance with personal hygiene.
