Dental Receptionist

*Overview*
We are seeking an eager and personable Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing appointments, patient inquiries, and administrative tasks with professionalism and efficiency. Experience with dental office software and a strong understanding of medical terminology are highly valued to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent patient service.

*Responsibilities*

* Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk operations in a professional manner.
* Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using dental practice management software.
* Collect patient information, verify insurance details, and update electronic dental records accurately.
* Handle patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
* Assist with administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and managing correspondence including referrals.
* Collaborate with dental team members to ensure seamless office workflow.

*Requirements*

* Prior experience as a dental receptionist or in a medical office setting preferred; dental office experience is highly desirable
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to handle multitasking.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
* Have a sense of humour and likes to laugh and have fun while being productive.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.26-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 33.5 ? 41.5 per week

Work Location: In person
