*Dental Receptionist (Cantonese-Speaking Preferred)*
*Job Summary*
We are seeking a professional and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, manage appointment scheduling, and handle administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires excellent communication skills, familiarity with dental office procedures, and proficiency in electronic medical records systems. The Dental Receptionist will contribute to a welcoming environment and ensure smooth daily operations of the front desk.
*Responsibilities*
* Greet patients warmly and provide exceptional customer service at the front desk
* Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using Open Dental or similar dental software
* Manage multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries and direct calls appropriately
* Verify patient insurance information and update electronic medical records accurately
* Collect payments and process billing transactions efficiently
* Maintain organized patient records in compliance with privacy regulations
* Assist with administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and correspondence
* Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth workflow throughout the day
* Handle patient check-in and check-out processes professionally
*Experience*
* Prior experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a dental office setting preferred
* Knowledge of dental practice management software such as Open Dental is highly desirable
* Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic medical records systems
* Experience working with multi-line phone systems and front desk operations in a medical or dental environment
* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in administrative tasks
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Previous office experience in a healthcare setting is a plus
