*Overview*

Established restorative dental practice in beautiful Yorkville seeks a hygienist with exceptional interpersonal skills. Conveniently located near the Bay/Bloor subway. Our practice has a loyal, appreciative clientele. Join our team and contribute to a welcoming and professional environment.

Hours are 9am- 6pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday with a one hour lunch.

Minimum 3 years experience preferred.

*Responsibilities*

* Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
* Take digital dental radiographs as needed
* Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
* Assist the dentist during examinations
* Maintain accurate patient records
* Ensure a sterile and organized work environment in compliance with infection control protocols
* Support patient comfort and address their concerns with professionalism and empathy
* Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth daily operations

*Requirements*

* Valid Dental Hygienist license in good standing
* Prior experience with AbelDent or similar dental software preferred
* Experience in dental assisting or general dental office operations is beneficial
* Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry
* Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
* Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient safety

Pay: $50.00-$55.00 per hour
