*Command Fishing and Pipe Recovery (CFPR)* headquartered in Nisku Alberta is the largest oilfield well intervention open and cased hole (fishing)company in the Western Canadian Sedimentary basin with 4 service locations across Western Canada and a sales office in Calgary. *CFPR* supplies well intervention expertise and equipment to the Drilling and Service rig industry. Specific to the Pipe Recovery Product Line, CFPR has personnel in 3 service locations throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan (Nisku, Grande Prairie, Estevan).

*POSITION OVERVIEW*:

The Corporate Controller, reporting directly reporting to the Chief Operations Officer ( COO) with a dotted line reporting relationship to both the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and company Board of Directors will be the _*key strategic guardian of CFPR financial legacy. *_The Controller will play a critical role in driving the financial strategy and financial health of the company through strategic planning, budgeting, financial analysis, and effective management of financial resources.

This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations and business operations and maintaining the financial/ethical integrity of CFPR by adhering to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles ( GAAP)and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and all Canadian laws.

The controller will manage cash flow and support the Ownership group?s long- term business planning.

The Controller role requires a strategic thinker who can provide financial insights/ drive operational efficiency long term business planning .

Salary range for this position is *$ 135,000 to $ 150,000 per year *plus full benefit package and eligibility for company bonus plan. Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA ) designation is required combined with 4 to 6 years prior experience in a similar role. _*Previous experience within the oilfield or construction Industry is a strong asset for this position. *_

Normal work hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Overtime / on call as needed. This position is based in Nisku Alberta and reliable transportation required to get to and from work.

_*Key accountabilities will involve :*_

* Providing day to day support and guidance to a strong team of five finance and administrative staff.
* Managing financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
* Preparing timely and accurate monthly financial statements and other reports for internal and external stakeholders.
* Demonstrated and above average competency with basic computer programs, internal company computer programs and ERP systems. Prior experience with ? Great Plains?? and _Open-door technologies ERP systems_? considered a strong asset.
* Working with the operations management team to improve corporate performance.
* Providing year-end financial information to external accountants. Work with the external accountants to manage year end costs and achieve a timely delivery of year end deliverables.
* Maintaining a strong, working relationship with the Company?s bankers, lawyers and insurance brokers.
