Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Determine the size of food portions and costs. Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization. Requisition food and kitchen supplies. Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods. Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef. Order supplies and equipment. Supervise kitchen staff and helpers. Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment. Clean kitchen and work areas. Manage kitchen operations. Employment terms options: Early morning. Evening. Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years. Employment terms options: Morning. To be determined. Day. Support for newcomers and refugees: Assists with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: housing, transportation, storage, childcare, winter clothing, etc.). Support for youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth.
