Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Outdoors. Confined spaces. Noisy. Dangerous. Dusty. Hot. Work setting: Willing to relocate. Remote location. Rural area. Construction site. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Perform pre-operational inspection. Read blueprints to determine work requirements . Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites. Pave and rake asphalt. Perform routine maintenance work. Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction. Direct traffic at or near construction sites. Construction specialization: Driveways. Industrial, commercial and institutional. Residential. Sidewalks and curbs. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Tight deadlines. Repetitive tasks. Attention to detail.
