A Computer Network Field Technician at TrailBlazer Techs is a team player with effective interpersonal skills. They work with a high level of accuracy and great attention to detail while performing repetitive tasks.

An TrailBlazer Network Field Technician has excellent oral & written communication skills, along with an ability to work well under pressure, in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Our full-time technicians must be available on call within an 8-hour shift, Monday ? Friday. As Field Technicians do commute to perform work at client sites, a personal reliable vehicle is a requirement.

*Key Responsibilities*

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty with professionalism, a commitment to excellence, and attention to detail.

Field Technicians must be available for work on-call within an 8-hour shift during weekdays.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

* Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer the use of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks and computer workstations, and peripheral equipment
* Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software
* Load computer tapes and disks and install software and printer paper and forms
* Provide problem-solving services to network users
* Perform routine network startup and shut down and maintain control records
* Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade Web-server hardware and software
* Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet

The Computer Network Technician should also be familiar with and have technical knowledge of:

* MS Windows
* Internet
* Device drivers
* Networking software
* Networking hardware
* Intranet
* Servers
* Mail server software
* Desktop publishing software
* MS Office
* Desktop applications

Salary: $ 24000-42000 per year
