*Overview*
Busy Law Firm looking for a Law Clerk to assist existing employees. This is a permanent part time position and to start as soon as possible. Salary will be based on experience.

*Duties*

* Assist in completing legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws.
* Assist in managing case files and documentation through effective data entry and clerical support.
* Maintain organized records and files, both physical and electronic, for easy retrieval and reference.
* Exhibit professionalism through effective phone etiquette when communicating with clients, courts, and other stakeholders.
* Reception duties, including booking appointments, dictation, answering phone.

*Experience*
Candidates should possess a strong foundation in legal principles and practices. Preferred qualifications include:

* Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
* Experience with DivorceMate is an asset.
* Experience in a law office is an asset.
* Proficiency in data entry and administrative tasks. A typing speed test will be administered
* Strong writing skills with the ability to articulate complex information clearly.
* Knowledge of clerical procedures within a legal context is beneficial.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.60-$24.00 per hour
