Certified Dental Assistant

The ideal candidate will support the doctor and clinical team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth daily operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow within a professional environment committed to patient health and comfort.

*Duties*

* Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with safety protocols
* Assist dentist during various procedures commonly preformed in a general dental office
* Take and develop dental X-rays using CAD technology when necessary
* Manage patient records using Abledent and Dexis software systems
* Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
* Maintain accurate documentation of treatments performed and materials used
* Ensure compliance with all health regulations and safety standards

*Skills*

* Proficiency in dental assisting techniques, including sterilization and patient support
* Knowledge of general dentistry procedures and work flow
* Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care
* Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages.
* Ability to work efficiently in a while maintaining attention to detail
* Certification or training in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory; ongoing professional development is encouraged

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour
