About the Role

AGM Bakery is a growing French Macaron manufacturer. We are seeking a *Supervisor* who is half-chef and half-operations-pro. You will lead our production team, ensuring every macaron meets our high-quality standards while keeping the floor running efficiently.

*Pay:* CA$22.00?$25.00 per hour

*Schedule:* Mon?Fri, 8:30 AM start, with an approximate 5 PM end (No overnights!)

*Key Responsibilities:*

* Lead the daily production run of premium macarons, ensuring batter consistency and perfect shells.
* Make and assemble French macarons according to established recipes and quality standards.
* Assign tasks to team members and ensure the daily production schedule is met.
* Oversee the technical macaron process (mixing, piping, baking) to ensure consistency. Optimize workflows to reduce ingredient waste and improve daily output.
* Maintain a "Safety First" floor, ensuring GMP and Food Safety standards are strictly followed.
* Monitor equipment (depositors, mixers) and troubleshoot minor issues to prevent downtime.
* Motivate a team of 10 members to hit daily targets while maintaining a positive culture.
* Train and supervise bakery staff, providing guidance and support as needed.

*Requirements:*

* *Experience:* At least 1 year in a *commercial food manufacturing* environment.
* *Leadership:* Proven ability to lead a small team and delegate effectively.
* *Technical:* Strong understanding of commercial bakery equipment and large-scale formulas.
* *Physical:* Ability to stand for full shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.
* Must be able to communicate in English, both verbal and written.
* Regular, dependable attendance is an essential function of this position.
* *Bonus:* Experience with Lean Manufacturing or HACCP.
