automotive glass technician

All-West Glass is a family owned business that has been operating Northern Communities for over 50 Years.

We are looking for experienced technicians or new talent who are interested in learning new skills and are potentially looking to earn a trade certificate as an Auto glass Technician or Journeyman/Journeywoman Glazier with room for advancement at our Yellowknife location.

You will be responsible for installing and repairing automotive glass . If you consider yourself to be self-motivated, mechanically inclined, and have a keen eye for detail. Customer service and satisfaction are at the forefront of everything we do and we strive to provide convenient, honest, and competent service.

*As part of our team, your duties will include:*

* Install, repair and replace glass and related materials such as back-glass heating-elements, on vehicles and equipment
* Examine windshield or windows for defects prior to installation
* Remove all dirt, foreign matter, and loose glass from damaged areas
* Remove and reinstall all mouldings, clips, wipers, screws, bolts and a-pillar moldings
* Install replacement glass in vehicles
* Install rubber-channeling strips around edges of glass in order to weatherproof windows or to prevent rattling
* Ensures that the shop area is set up for maximum productivity levels

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $29.00-$34.00 per hour
