Assistant Executive Housekeeper

*Position Summary*

We are currently seeking a *Casual Housekeeper* to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and infection control throughout the facility. The successful candidate will also be *cross-trained to support laundry and dietary (kitchen) services* as needed.

*Key Responsibilities*

*Housekeeping Duties:*

* Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, and workspaces
* Follow infection prevention and control protocols
* Handle waste and linen according to established procedures
* Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors

*Laundry Support (Cross-Training):*

* Wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and resident clothing
* Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently
* Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area

*Kitchen Support (Cross-Training):*

* Assist with basic food preparation and meal service
* Support dishwashing and sanitation processes
* Follow food safety and hygiene standards

*Qualifications & Skills*

* Previous experience in housekeeping, healthcare, or hospitality is an asset
* Willingness to be cross-trained in laundry and kitchen operations
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Understanding of infection control practices (preferred)
* Ability to perform physical tasks (standing, lifting, bending)

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $17.07-$22.69 per hour
