About the Role
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Operate heavy equipment. Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment. Secure special attachments to equipment. Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Operate power vibrators to compact concrete. Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Load, unload and transport construction materials. Assist mechanics and perform other duties as directed. Level earth to fine grade specifications. Security and safety: Drug test. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Standing for extended periods. Ability to work independently. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Personal suitability: Team player. Punctuality. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years. Employment terms options: Overtime required.
