Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Outdoors. Hot. Work setting: Rural area. Tasks: Maintain the bee yard and beekeeping equipment. Work with honey bees. Harvest crops. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Maintain quality control and production records. Perform general farm duties. Interac with bees based on your knowledge of their biology, behaviour, ecology and caste system. Apiary and honey harvesting experience: Detect bee diseases . Harvest, extract and package honey and beeswax. Manage bee colonies for the production of honey and pollination purposes. . Automated honey extractor. Apiary management. Harvesting honey. Honey farm. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Tight deadlines. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks.
