*Role and Objectives:*

Reporting to the Controller, the Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for supporting the organization?s revenue cycle through accurate invoicing, timely collections, and effective credit management. This role ensures that customer accounts are maintained in good standing while supporting cash flow objectives and minimizing credit risk.

*Responsibilities:*

*Invoicing and Billing*

* Prepare and process customer sales invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
* Manage and process intercompany sales invoicing, ensuring proper documentation and reconciliation between entities.
* Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes in collaboration with internal teams.

*Credit Risk Management*

* Perform customer credit reviews, including assessing creditworthiness, highlighting areas of potential credit risk.
* Recommend and maintain customer credit limits in accordance with company policies.
* Monitor customer accounts to identify potential credit risks or issues and escalate findings to support timely and appropriate follow-up actions.

*Collections and Customer Account Management*

* Monitor accounts receivable aging and proactively follow up on outstanding balances.
* Conduct collections activities, including communicating with customers to resolve payment issues and secure timely payments.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with customer-facing Project Managers.
* Maintain strong customer relationships while ensuring timely payment collection.

*Reconciliation and Reporting*

* Reconcile accounts receivable subledger to the general ledger.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account records.
* Support month-end close activities related to accounts receivable.
* Prepare accounts receivable reports, aging summary reports, and analysis for management.

*Process Improvement and Controls*

* Support the periodic review of Invoicing and Accounts Receivable policies and provide recommendations for improvement.
* Identify and recommend opportunities to improve accounts receivable processes and operational efficiency.
* Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and procedures.
* Support audit requests and documentation requirements.

*Requirements:*

*Education*

* Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

*Experience*

* 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role

*Skills & Knowledge*

* Strong understanding of invoicing, collections, and credit processes
* Customer Service Orientation
* Agile and adaptable, able to navigate changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Strong prioritization and time management, focusing on high-impact activities

*Compensation Package:*

* Salary: $48,000 ? $60,000 per year
* Schedule: Monday ? Friday
