With over 25 years of experience, our mission is to deliver exceptional craftsmanship, organization, and client satisfaction from design to delivery.As the company grows, we are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Controller or Accounting Technician to manage the full cycle of accounting and financial reporting for a dynamic, fast-paced small business environment.Position OverviewReporting directly to the shareholders, the Controller will be responsible for managing all financial operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll preparation, bank reconciliations, and monthly financial statements.This role requires someone who is proactive, organized, and comfortable wearing many hats?a professional who can bring structure, accuracy, and insight to the company?s finances.Key Responsibilities- Manage full-cycle accounting: A/P, A/R, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and journal entries- Prepare and issue client invoices, follow up on payments, and maintain clear financial records- Track and reconcile supplier accounts and purchase orders- Handle expense reports, credit card reconciliations, and petty cash- Prepare and review monthly and quarterly financial reports for management- Assist in budgeting, cash flow projections, and cost control strategies- Liaise with the company?s external accountant for year-end and tax filings- Maintain organized and up-to-date digital accounting files- Support payroll processing and employee expense tracking- Assist with financing documentation, loan renewals, and vendor credit applications- Contribute to process improvement and ensure accounting best practices are followedQualifications- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role (Controller, Accounting Technician, or Bookkeeper)- Familiarity with construction or project-based accounting (an asset)- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization- Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written)- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skillsWhat We Offer- A key role within a growing, design-driven company- Exposure to multiple business functions in a collaborative environment- Competitive salary based on experience- Growth opportunities as the company scales- Supportive management and modern office in LaSalle
