Accounting Clerk

On behalf of our client- TA Appliance & BBQ?s is looking for a highly motivated Accounting Administrator to join our Finance team located in Kitchener. This role will report directly to the VP of Finance.Responsibilities Include:� Reconciliation of banks, balance sheet accounts including month-end closing entries and reporting� Create and post journal entries as needed� Maintain General ledger accounts, Government filings � Ad Hoc projects for senior management� Weekly & Monthly reporting for sales and management.� Support the various admin teams as needed.� Respond to both internal and external questions from Customers, stakeholders, managers & staff.Required Skills and Experience:� 2 years working in an accounting field ideally in a retail environment.��Diploma in an Accounting Program with a good grasp of Canadian GAAP.� Team player, with excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills� Excellent Excel skills and working knowledge of the rest of the MS Office suite.� Ability to multitask while still being accurate and timely.� A natural desire to understand and improve processesSalary is commensurate with experience.
