*Job Summary*
Do you love working in a soccer environment? We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Sports Facility Attendant to join our team in overseeing bookings of soccer and other sports. This position is for an 8-week contract, with the possibility of renewing for an additional 8 weeks. Because the position is part of the Canada Summer Jobs Program and because of job requirements, candidates must be 18-30 years old and must reside in the Edmonton area (preferably on the south side and/or have a vehicle to get to work). The position requires being available for a flexible and changeable schedule for 30+ hours per week that will be mainly work in evenings and late nights as well as shifts during the day on weekends (depending on soccer bookings). The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the facility s operations and ensuring a high level of customer service, including being enthusiastic about leading soccer parties on the field. The Attendant will be responsible for overseeing various tasks related to facilities maintenance and supporting the overall functionality of our operations.

*Duties*
* Open and/or Close Facility, set up fields, and ensure groups enter the field at their booking times and leave 5 minutes before the end of their scheduled time.
* Ensure facility policies and regulations are known to clients and followed. Regularly checking on clients on field and in the lobby area.
* Candidate must be willing and able to do the job of on-field party coordinator, leading the kids in scrimmages, supervising, and ensuring they have fun on the field during parties.
* Communicate to Operations Manager any problems, issues with a client or clients, issues with another staff member or with the cleanliness of the facility upon arrival for the shift.
* Inspect each field area (and especially the ceiling) before and after each booking and at regular intervals during each booking. Report any damage to the Operations Manager first immediately by WhatsApp or Text and then by filling out a Damage Report.
* Ensure facility is safe for clients, including exterior areas. Report issues immediately to Operations Manager if facility is not usable.
* Maintain the lobby clean, sweeping the floors when required, and replace garbage bags when they are full.
* Maintain the 3 washrooms clean, sweeping the floors when required, and replace garbage bags when they are full. Maintain supplies always available for customers.
* Maintain the corridor along the turf area clean, sweeping the floors when it s required, and replace garbage bags when they are full.
* Walk periodically between the lobby and field C to check that the integrity of the facility is still ok without damage; this includes lights, fans, goals, and everything that could be costly to repair.
* Prepare party room and/or field areas when needed for parties or other soccer events and clean these areas after the events.
* Represent and promote SPORTS TC in a professional manner at all times.
* Dress appropriately for shift.
* Use of personal electronic equipment should be kept to a minimum when not related to SPORTS TC work. You should not be on your own personal device unless the facility is all tidy and clients are all busy on the field, and even then only for short periods between which you are checking on the clients.
* Use of facility electronic equipment is limited to SPORTS TC use only.
* Identify areas where the facility can improve.
* Stay in close communication with facility managers regarding questions from customers or any problems at the facility.
* Check WhatsApp at least a couple times per day to keep up to date with changes to employee schedules and any issues relating to the job.

*Requirement*
* One main requirement for this position is to be flexible in terms of work hours for the 8-week duration of the contract. Most of the shifts would be weekday evenings all the way potentially until midnight and weekends all day and in the evening/night. Thi
