About the Role

*Sports Coordinator*

Reporting to the Manager of Operations at CSSC, the Sports Coordinator will have a direct impact on CSSC players and have a pivotal role in assisting with behind-the-scenes league management tasks. This role is key to supporting the achievement of our organizational goals and ensuring we offer the best Adult Recreational Sports leagues across Alberta. The Sports coordinator oversees league administration, customer service and office administration in addition to managing special programs.

Applicants must possess the 3 following traits:

*Responsibilities & Qualifications*
*Start Date:* June / July 2025
*Hours: *Full-time hours (40/week) Monday to Friday; shifts scheduled between the hours of 8:15 am and 7:00 pm. Some evening & overtime work will be required during season start-ups (January, April, July, and September).
*Responsibilities*

*League Administration:*
* Manage registrations, scores and standings through our database & website
* Assist in creating, posting and communicating league schedules
* Support sport nurturance and improvement initiatives
* Oversee the management of special programs
* This may include: Injury Program, Equipment, Masters and Draft leagues, and Lost & Found

*Customer Service and Office Administration:*
* Provide excellent customer service on the phone, in-person and via email
* Update and maintain CSSC player database and profiles
* Role model the CSSC values (pride, ownership and care) in and out of the office
* Assist with office errands and office supply orders
* Complete special projects and tasks as assigned by the Manager of League Operations

*Experience and Qualifications*
* Bachelor?s degree from a recognized University
* 1-2 years experience in a Customer Service role
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Respectful, Team player
* High Organization
* Driven and goal oriented
* Ability to multi-task
* Flexible with work schedule; able to work a variety of shifts as required
* High level of computer competency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
