*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the daily operations of our retail environment, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient management of store activities. *Duties*
* Assist in overseeing daily store operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to company policies.
* Manage payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in employee compensation.
* Utilize mathematical skills for inventory management, pricing strategies, and sales analysis.
* Support recruiting efforts by participating in the hiring process and onboarding of new staff.
* Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills in retail sales and customer service.
* Maintain a well-organized store environment that promotes a positive shopping experience for customers.
* Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system effectively, managing transactions and resolving any issues that arise.
* Analyze market trends to optimize product placement, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.

*Experience*
* Previous experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role is preferred.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in payroll systems and basic accounting principles is highly desirable.
* Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customer bases.
* A solid understanding of retail sales techniques and customer engagement strategies.
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team while also taking initiative independently.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 ? 40 per week
