About the clinic:

Bayridge Physiotherapy is a manual therapy-focused clinic in a high-traffic plaza in the west end of Kingston, Ontario. There is ample free parking on site. We have individual treatment rooms, a dedicated exercise area, waiting area, staff break room and a therapist office.

We are known for our quality of care and customer service. We offer 1:1 physiotherapy treatment sessions, maintain excellent therapeutic relationship and communication with all our clients and referring professionals. Given the quality of our service, we have a high client retention rate, clients refer their family and friends and as a result we have a constant flow of new clients. Caseload comprises of a mix of private pay, OHIP-funded, WSIB, Veterans affairs and Canadian armed forces clients.

Job requirements:

Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Professional liability insurance is also required.

Full-time experienced Registered Physiotherapist who is energetic and reliable, and passionate about providing client-centred care.

Minimum of 2 years of manual therapy experience in a private practice and ability to work independently with a variety of MSK conditions.

Acupuncture or dry needling course is required.

Clinical experience at an OHIP-funded facility and a course in concussion rehab are an asset.

The applicant should be motivated to help with business growth and grow their career with the business.

Responsibilities:

Perform thorough MSK assessment.

Develop and administer proper treatment plan.

Maintain proper communication with referring healthcare professionals and funding agencies.

Maintain proper documentation according to College regulations.

Clinic owners who are experienced physiotherapists are also available to provide clinical skills and business development skills mentorship.

Salary: Fee-for-service pay starting at 40% or higher for experienced therapist commensurate with your experience and certifications.
