registered dental hygienist

Allandale Dental Centre is looking for a *Registered Dental Hygienist. *We are a family oriented dental practice that has operated in the community for over 30 years.

*Responsibilities will include:*
* Preparing operatory and instruments
* Diagnostic impressions/records/digital scanning
* maintaining/updating patient dental records
* preparing and taking x-rays
* sterilizing dental equipment/instruments
* Perform dental hygiene procedures, including scaling, polishing and application of fluoride
* Educating patients on oral hygiene practices and providing personalized dental care instructions
* Maintain a sterile and organized dental office environment

This is a long term position and we are looking for a serious and qualified applicant.

Skills:

-Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and ensure patient satisfaction
- Dentrix: Familiarity with Dentrix software for patient record management and appointment scheduling or similar program
- Pediatrics: Experience working with pediatric patients and providing care for children s dental needs
- Dental Office: Knowledge of dental office procedures, including insurance billing and appointment coordination
- Orthodontics: Understanding of orthodontic procedures
- Medical Terminology: Familiarity with dental and medical terminology to effectively communicate with the dental team

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
