JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Human Resources Summer Student will support the HR team with day-to-day operations, employee programs, and ongoing HR projects. This role is ideal for a student pursuing studies in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Hourly wage : $19.50/hr to $21.15/hrRESPONSIBILITIESSupport HR documentation, filing, data entry, and maintaining employee recordsParticipate in HR projects related to engagement, training, and policy updatesHelp coordinate employee events and wellness initiativesProvide administrative support to the HR team as neededMaintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with company policies and HR processesAssist with recruitment activities, including posting jobs, screening applications, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new employeesQUALIFICATIONSCurrently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Human Resources, Business, or a related fieldStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive informationHigh attention to detail and strong organizational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)Ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentPrevious HR or office experience is considered an assetABOUT USFounded in 1882, J.D.
