About the Role

Assisting with real estate purchase, sale and financing transactions.

Regular task and responsibilities:

- Open and manage files in Unity and Teraview

- Prepare and review requisition and closing documents (including final reports to banks and clients)

- Correspond and communicate with client, counter-party solicitors and government authorities

- Attend to the banks to issue and deposit certified cheques

- Organize and maintain physical and electronic files

- Other general office and clerical duties as required

Qualifications and Skills:

- Strong English language communication skills, both written and verbal

- Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented atmosphere

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlines

- Ability to meet strict deadlines with excellent Multi-tasking and problem-solving skills

- Detail-oriented and self-motivated

- Familiar with Unity and Teraview

- 3 to 5 years of prior experiences as a real estate law clerk

- Ontario college diploma in paralegal or law firm is strongly preferred

- Fluency in Mandarin is an asset

- A valid driver?s license and access to a reliable vehicle is required
